  • Portrait of Michael Azgour, the Founder + Instructor of Azgour Art Group

    Michael Azgour

    FOUNDER + INSTRUCTOR

    Michael Azgour is a contemporary artist exploring the space between perception and reality. His layered paintings—merging expressive figuration with geometric abstraction—are influenced by memory and digital culture. Azgour’s award-winning work has been shown in galleries and museums across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, with solo exhibitions at the Fresno Art Museum and the Art Museum of Los Gatos. His paintings have appeared at major art fairs, including SCOPE NYC, San Francisco Art Fair, and Seattle Art Fair, and are held in prominent collections such as Stanford University’s Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and Showtime Television Network. He has lectured internationally, including at TEDx Krakow, and teaches drawing and painting at Stanford University.

  • Clinton Khee

    COMMUNITY MANAGER

    Malaysian-born artist and designer with a Master’s in Architecture from the University of Technology Cracow, Poland. His cross-cultural background informs a practice that bridges design and fine art, blending realism with abstraction. A former studio assistant for Azgour Art and current Community Manager at Azgour Art Group, Clinton curates, shares learning resources, and engages directly with members by offering feedback and support. Currently in Malaysia, Clinton brings sustainable visions to life through collaborative installation projects and tailor-made art projects for clients ranging from private collectors to forward-thinking businesses.

  • Erika May

    Erika May

    ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR

    Erika "EMay" May is an award-winning musician, writer, dancer, and visual artist. She is a committed member of AAG, and a lifelong student, holding a BFA in Fine Art from Carnegie Mellon University and continuing her studies through Stanford, The Himalayan Institute, Esalen, CoSM, and several venerable mentors. EMay lives at a homestead farm in West Virginia, where she practices, teaches, and writes about music, art, yoga, dance, and meditation. At other times, she enjoys tending a garden, keeping bees, and anything that gets her outdoors.
